MAPUSA: The accused in Anjuna attempt to murder case has surrendered.
Oberoi D’Cruz (36) accused in alleged attempt to murder of one Namdev Valavalkar (46), resident of Mazalwaddo, Anjuna surrendered on Tuesday afternoon.
On Sunday, at around 12.20pm, the victim and the accused got into an argument near the Monkey Bar, Anjuna. In the scuffle, the accused person stabbed the victim with a sharp weapon suspected to be a knife on his nose, hand, chest and stomach.
After the attack, the accused had escaped from the spot while the victim is at present is undergoing treatment. Anjuna Police are investigating the case.
Sources said that the victim and the accused were known to each other and a love triangle is the reason for argument.
