Accused wounds self in lockup

Police custody did not stop him from committing a crime and accused ended up wounding himself in the process.
Peter Antao of Talpan-Shiroda who was arrested under Section 151 IPC for allegedly quarreling with neighbours, injured himself by dashing his head to the iron bars at the police lockup.
Antao was shifted to the ID hospital where he was given medical treatment, before police booked him with a fresh offence, at attempt to commit suicide.
