PANJIM: Activist Tara Kerkar has demanded suspension and FIR against a police sub-inspector and two constables for sharing her call details and location to a woman social worker. The activist has also demanded action against the woman for seeking the details illegally and maligning the former’s image on the social media.
Addressing a press conference outside the Panjim police station, Kerkar accused the three policemen of leaking the confidential details with the social worker without the knowledge of the police higher-ups.
“On the night of Sept 21, the social worker filmed a portion of my house and she is heard maligning my image. I was not at my house when she took the video. She filmed the window and not the door which was locked. I lodged a police complaint against her,” she said.
