MARGAO: Colva Police have lodged a complaint against social activist Judith Almeida and one Nixon Furtado following a complaint lodged by Sernabatim, Vanelim, Colva and Gandaulim panchayat secretary Amol Tilve.
According to the complaint, on September 27, 2019 at around 11.13 am, when Amol was in the panchayat office at Colva, Judith and Nixon came there and abused him with filthy language and Nixon even pushed him.
The complaint states that the two threatened him with dire consequences and then left the panchayat office.
In another complaint, Amol stated that on September 20 when he was in the Matanhy Saldanha Administrative Complex, Judith along with one Neville Furtado asked him not to accept the posting as Secretary of Colva panchayat.
This complaint states that the two warned him that he would have to function as per their instructions failing which they threatened to file cases against him in the High Court and trouble him at every moment.
Police Sub Inspector Yogesh Gadkar is investigating the case which is booked for intentional insult to breach peace, voluntarily causing hurt and criminal intimidation.
