Agitated activists from across Goa staged at peaceful sit-in protest at Azad Maidan, Panjim at a host of issues that are plaguing Goa and causing discomfort to the Goans. Activists decried the diversion of River Mhadei, casinos in the River Mandovi, Coal Pollution in the Zuari River, Sewage pollution in river Sal. They gave the slogan of Save our Rivers, Save Goa and lamented the fast decline of the environment, society and polity of Goa, given the above developments.
