Vasco: Activists from Verna panchayat area have questioned the role of the Panchayat in a site being developed as an open air hall in Verna jurisdiction. The activists have alleged the shady affairs of the Panchayat while granting licence to a project has pointed fingers to the Sarpanch for committing fraud.
The activists have alleged that Gramsabha had discussed this matter where in it was known that the TCP had permitted a residential house in the above mentioned plot but the Panchayat has allegedly gone ahead to permission for a Open Air Hall.
