Chhattisgarh will hold elections in two phases on November 7 and 17, given its substantial 90-member assembly. Madhya Pradesh and Telangana are set to vote on November 17 and 30, respectively. Rajasthan, initially scheduled for November 23, will now have elections on November 25. The counting of votes will occur on December 3.
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar emphasized the unique significance of these state elections, as they represent the final assembly elections before the general elections in 2024. The appointment of actor Rajkummar Rao as a national icon aims to encourage voter participation and promote awareness in these crucial elections.
