MARGAO: The South Goa Zilla Parishad has written to all the panchayats for the preparation of Annual Development Plan for the year 2020-21. This plan is mandatory for all according to the High Court directions in Writ Petition No.6 of 2018.
The panchayats have been requested to formulate and submit the Annual Development Plans. The South Goa Zilla Parishad headed DPC has the mandate of formulating and application of the plans.
The formulation of the plans will have to look at the topics such as panchayat ghars and proper infrastructure, training of the ward members, strengthening of the self-help groups, industries, tourism, agriculture and horticulture development, water management etc.
