PANJIM (HR):?Senior counsel Suryakant Kakodkar expired after a brief illness on Monday morning at Jupiter Hospital in Thane, Mumbai.
Adv Kakodkar joined Bar Council in 1962-63 after obtaining LLB degree. He started practicing law in Mumbai before he came down to Goa in 1967 and soon he came to be known for his acumen in Constitutional and tax matters.
He became senior lawyer in 1987. A highly respectful lawyer, Adv Kakodkar was most sought after for constitutional matters for many years.
He is survived by two sons. The funeral will held at 11 am on Tuesday at St Inez crematorium in Panjim.
