PANJIM: The department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services (AHVS) has effected a major shuffle of its assistant directors and veterinary officers, wherein eight assistant directors and 15 veterinary officers have been transferred.
Assistant Directors Dr Arun Verlekar from the Veterinary Hospital, Mapusa has been transferred to AHVS head office at, Panjim, Dr Vasant Malkarnekar from the Key Village Scheme at Curti-Ponda has been transferred to vet hospital at Tonca, Dr U Pednekar from the Disease Investigation unit at Tonca has been posted to the AHVS head office, Dr S M Naik from the vete dispensary at Sanguem has been sent to the Veterinary hospital at Sonsoddo Raia, Dr Rajendra Prabhu Gaonkar in charge to Veterinary dispensary, Cuncolim, Canacona and Poinguinim has been transferred to the Key Village scheme at Curti, Dr Gustavo Pinto from the vete hospital Tonca has been posted at the vet hospital at Mapusa, Dr Greta Costa from the vet hospital at Mapusa to the disease investigation unit at Tonca and Dr Ramkrishna Jog from the Vet dispensary has been posted to livestock farm at Dhat, Mollem.
Vet officers include Dr Prashan Naik from the Veterinary dispensary Netravali has been sent to dispensary in Canacona with additional charge of the Poinguinim dispensary, thus relieving Dr Prabhu Gaonkar of additional charge. Dr Yogesh Naik of the vet hospital at Curti has been posted at the vet dispensary at Mandrem, Dr Veena S Kumar from the vet dispensary at Calangute has been sent to the vet hospital at Tonca. Dr Anuradha Naik at the vet dispensary at Mandrem has been posted at the vet hospital at Mapusa, Dr Prakash Korgaonkar from the vet hospital at Pernem has been sent to the vet dispensary at Pirna, Dr Rajaram Naik from the Disease investigation unit at Tonca has been sent to the government poultry farm at Ela Old Goa, Dr Vilas Naik from the govt poultry farm has been sent to the stockman training centre at Curti.
Dr Nitin Naik from the government livestock farm at Dhat, Mollem has been sent to the veterinary dispensary at Sanguem and Dr Satyawan Naik of the vete dispensary Shiroda has been sent to vet hospital at Ponda.
Five veterinary officers who are on contract basis have also been transferred. Dr Charlotte Fernandes from the cattle breeding farm at Copardem has been posted at the vet dispensary at Calangute, Dr Gayatridas Gauthankar has been sent from the cattle breeding farm at Copardem to vet dispensary, Pernem, Dr Maria Cunha Costa has been sent from Govt. Livestock Farm in Dhat to disease investigation unit in Tonca, Dr Natasha Coutinho has been sent from cattle breeding farm Copardem to vet dispensary Shiroda., Dr Anisha Pinheiro from Govt livestock farm, Dhat to vet dispensary at Cuncolim.
