Airport Director alerts public on fraudulent recruitment advertisements

VASCO: Goa Airport Director Gagan Malik has urged the people to be alert and stay away from the fraudulent advertisements/messages or agents who claim to recruit people at the airport.

Malik informed that a strict set of Central government procedures and AAI rules are followed during recruitment at the airport.

Via its official Twitter handle, the Goa Airport tweeted, “BEWARE. It has come to notice that  mischievous elements are deceiving the public on promise of appointment with airport/AAI and issuing fake letters of appointments. Be it known that all recruitment in AAI is through public notice and after due process”.

Malik informed that the Airport Authority came across a fake appointment letter issued to someone in which the person was promised cargo executive job with handsome salary. In that fake appointment letter, the person was asked to pay some registration fee of Rs 3,550. Further, the CTC breakdown has been also mentioned in that fake letter.

Malik has urged the people not to fall prey to such fraudulent things claiming to come from AAI.

He said the recruitment related to AAI takes place via proper authentic channel with proper set Central Govt’s procedure or the AAI’s rules. The recruitment-related details are displayed on the official website of AAI. There is absolutely no middleman or any agent, who can recruit or provide jobs at the airport, so it is requested to people to stay alert and remain away from such fraud messages.
