PANJIM: The All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) of Goa adapted 12 resolutions at a public meeting to mark International Labour Day on Sunday, which included demand for raising the minimum wages from existing Rs 307 to Rs 768, controlling the rising LPG and fuel prices by reducing Value-added tax (VAT), clearing the pending overtime wages, incrementing the wages of helper-teachers, regularising contract workers, equal pay for equal work top the chart.
