AITUC Goa to support nationwide strike

PANJIM: The working people under the banner of the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) and its fraternal organisations will support the call of nationwide general strike in protest against the anti-labour and anti-people policies of the government.

Speaking to reporters, AITUC State General Secretary Christopher Fonseca said that on March 28, the workers will hold protest demonstrations in various industrial estates across and on the next day, a massive public rally will be organised in Panjim starting from KTC bus stand at 9:30 am and will culminate into a public meeting near municipal garden.

The associations have given a call for two-day nationwide strike to protest against government policies affecting workers, farmers and people.
