PANJIM: The All India Trade Union Congress, Goa State Council will hold mass protest dharna at Azad Maidan, Panjim on Thursday, September 30 from 10 am onwards to protest anti-labour policies and to demand minimum wage of Rs 21,000 per month, among others.
AITUC State general secretary Christopher Fonseca said the government should revise minimum wages for all schedules of employment at Rs 21,000 per month to unskilled workers with effect from January 1, 2021.
He demanded that the Union government should withdraw anti-labour and anti-farmer laws and pay minimum support prices for farmers produce.
