Two passengers on an Akasa Air flight from Goa to Delhi were offloaded after allegedly misbehaving with cabin crew, leading to a delay of over one and a half hours. The incident occurred onboard flight QP1358 while the aircraft was preparing for departure.
According to sources, the altercation began when cabin crew members were assisting passengers with placing luggage in the overhead compartments. A crew member, identified as Abhinav, was handling bags when passengers Anup Bhargava and Chandan Mishra objected to him touching their luggage.

The situation escalated when Bhargava allegedly turned aggressive and verbally abused the crew member, questioning his authority and threatening him. Bhargava is also accused of pushing the cabin crew member despite an apology being offered in an attempt to calm the situation.
As the unruly behaviour continued, the crew decided to offload both passengers in the interest of flight safety and discipline. Bhargava allegedly refused to deboard initially, made several phone calls, and resisted removal until fellow passengers intervened and demanded that he exit the aircraft. The pilot later addressed passengers with an announcement after the offloading was completed.
