The Porvorim Elevated Corridor is set to be inaugurated by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on September 9 at 6 pm, PWD Minister Digambar Kamat said.
The inauguration ceremony will be held at Majestic, Porvorim. Prior to the inauguration, the public will be allowed to walk along the elevated corridor for two days – September 7 and 8.

Regular vehicular traffic on the corridor will commence from September 11 at 4 pm.
On the inauguration day, public entry to the corridor will be permitted only from the Mapusa–Guirim side. Ministers and MLAs, meanwhile, will be allowed to enter from Majestic 30 minutes before the scheduled inauguration ceremony.
