MAPUSA: A house at Naikawado, near the Aldona branch of Bank of Baroda, was gutted in fire, on Tuesday. The owners pegged the loss at Rs 10 lakh.
The house is owned by one Dinanath Dattaram Mhambrey and Dr Gurudatta Mhambrey.
The Mapusa Fire station in-charge said that he received a call at 6.30 pm informing that a house in Aldona was on fire. Immediately a team of fire fighters headed by Sub-officer Shivaji Naik rushed to the spot and put out the flames completely, using two fire tenders.
