MAPUSA: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged as the biggest party in the world, and all the credit goes to its ‘karyakartas’ (workers), who are working round-the-clock. Opposition wakes up during elections, but BJP karyakartas’ work throughout the year to strengthen the organization, stated Union Minister of State for Tourism Shripad Naik. He was addressing a corner meeting held on the premises of the Shantadurga temple at Assonora.
Speaking further, Naik, contesting the May 7 Lok Sabha election for the sixth consecutive term, said, “I have mentioned the development work done in North Goa Parliamentary constituency during the last 10 years in my report book. The opposition who are shouting in my name must read it.”
BJP State President and MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade said that this Lok Sabha election was important for various reasons. “2024 is the beginning of Amrit Kaal. We are moving forward with the goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047. In the last 10 years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with infrastructural development, the BJP government also did human development. We all can see the vast development that has happened in 10 years. To speed up this development and to fulfil the dream of Viksit Bharat, we need to elect Modi ji again.”
This was Naik’s second round of election campaigning in Tivim Assembly constituency. After paying floral tributes to the statue of martyr Balu Mapari, the Union Minister started his campaign tour in Assonora along with Tanavade, Halarnkar, office-bearers of various BJP frontal organizations in large numbers.
