PANJIM: Bal Bhavan has organised an all Goa group singing competition at the taluka level at 12 different locations. The taluka level round will take place on August 8 and the groups finishing first will be eligible to contest the final round at state level on August 12.
Programme coordinator Shashikant Punaji informed that the taluka level round will be held at Dharbandora: Mahamaya temple hall, Collem, Tiswadi: Bal Bhavan hall, Campal, Sattari: Shree Hanuman Vidyalaya hall, Valpoi, Mormugao: Ravindra Bhavan mini auditorium, Vasco, Salcete: Ravindra Bhavan auditorium, Margao, Sanguem: Sangameshwar Vidhyalaya hall, Sanguem, Quepem: Sarvodaya High School hall, Curchorem, Pernem: Education officer hall, Pernem, Bardez: G S Amonkar Vidya Mandir hall, Mapusa, Bicholim: Ideal High School, Pilgao, Ponda: A J D Almeida High School hall, Ponda and Canacona: Nirakar Temple hall at 3 pm.
The final round will be conducted on August 12 at Bal Bhavan hall, Campal at 3 pm. The competition forms are available on Bal Bhavan’s Facebook page and the interested groups can apply till August 1.
