All MLAs involved in matka: Mickky

MARGAO: Former Nuvem MLA Mickky Pacheco has requested the chief minister to step down if he can’t take action against the illegal matka trade in Goa. He has demanded that a mobile app be launched on the lines of traffic sentinel to report the matka cases and action be taken.
The former MLA said that since coming to power 11 months ago, the government has not taken up any developmental works benefiting the common man.
Mickky has alleged that every MLA, be it of Congress or BJP is now involved in the matka trade and is taking hafta to keep the trade going.
On the justification for launching an app for reporting matka, Mickky said, “If the person who sends photo of traffic violation is rewarded, why shouldn’t reward be given to the person who takes photo of matka trade and gives it to the police?”
Claiming that every MLA has his own men taking matka bet, Mickky alleged that the police too are involved.
