All repair works for next 5 years will be done for free by the contractor: PWD Min on KA maintenance

Following a comprehensive three-year renovation, Kala Academy reopened its doors on Friday, signifying a pivotal moment in the region’s cultural resurgence. Nilesh Cabral, the Goa PWD Minister, announced that the contractor responsible for the Academy’s renovation holds a five-year liability period for any defective work. This means that any necessary repair work within the next five years will be conducted free of charge.

The assurance provided by Cabral underscores the commitment to maintaining the structural integrity of this iconic cultural hub. With the guarantee of repairs over the next half-decade, the reopening of Kala Academy not only marks a revitalization but also ensures the sustained upkeep of the Academy’s facilities, offering an enduring space for artistic expression and cultural activities in Goa.
