PANJIM: Nissan today announced the launch of the new Nissan Micra, which sports a bold, energetic exterior and premium interiors. Also sharing centre stage is Micra Active, which is a spacious hatchback offering quality and functionality at a competitive price.
The New Micra is based on the popular fourth-generation city car with re-designed exteriors, refreshed premium interiors and a list of advanced user-friendly features.
The major highlight of New Micra is the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) gearbox and it is the first hatchback in India offering Xtronic CVT technology with a sports mode button. The key benefits CVT provides for customers is smooth acceleration and no shift shock unlike conventional automatic transmissions and tops it up with its best-in-class fuel efficiency. With fuel efficiency of 19.34 kmpl as per ARAI, it is higher than manual and conventional automatic gearbox equipped cars.
The Micra Active was also launched. It has distinctive sporty exteriors with spacious interiors with a lower cost of ownership. This model benefits from a highly competitive price, maintenance costs and better fuel efficiency of 19.49kmpl; all this without compromising on the driving experience.
Micra Active is also available in a special safety grade with added safety features.
