AMBELIM: A deficit Budget for 2021-22 and the Annual Development Plan (ADP) was presented and approved at the ordinary Gram Sabha of the Ambelim Village Panchayat held, recently.
Ambelim Sarpanch Denica Correia informed that “the Ambelim Village Panchayat held its ordinary Gram Sabha on February 7, wherein the Budget for 2021-22 and the ADP were presented and approved. The ADP has been prepared as part of the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) wherein certain works such as the repairs of public wells, construction of drains, asphalting of the interior roads and beautification with pavers and cemented sitting benches from the Ambelim sub-health centre till the Ambelim Village Panchayat are proposed to be taken up under the XIV Finance Commission funds.”
“Besides, other works yet to be completed include the XIV Finance include the construction of two toilet blocks near the Ambelim Panchayat shopping complex in Capleavaddo (Ward No. V) and the construction of two drains in Vazvaddo (Ward No. IV) of Ambelim village. Works completed under the XIV Finance include the minor repairs and painting of the Ambelim Panchayat Ghar and the construction of the garbage shed near the Ambelim Panchayat shopping complex,” disclosed Denica.
