VASCO: The people of New Vaddem have condemned the “inhuman act” of 108 ambulance staff who abandoned a person lying in a critical state at an isolated place at New-Vaddem after claiming to have given the first aid treatment.
Eye witnesses said that they had found a 60-year-old man lying close to a gutter in a critical condition. People disclosed that the man was abandoned by 108 ambulance van attached to the Verna police station.
Later, people intimated the Vasco police who rushed to the site and took custody of the person andshifted the person to the Cottage Hospital at Chicalim in a critical condition.
