American tests negative for coronavirus

PANJIM: The blood sample of US citizen, who was quarantined in Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) for suspected coronavirus is negative and the patient has been discharged, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said on Tuesday. 
Rane said that the report from NIV Pune of US suspect is negative, while the other patient is still under observation.
Two US female visitors were kept under observation at GMC, since last week, after both had arrived in Goa from China.
The minister further informed that 14 travellers are under observation, but no new symptomatic. 
He said that a new doctor is posted as Airport Health Officer at Goa International Airport Dabolim by aviation ministry. Also, two AYUSH Doctors deputed for screening at airport along with previously posted paramedics, he said.
