BICHOLIM: Unknown culprits snatched the gold chain of an elderly woman one Parvati Naik from Bhandarwada-Amona.
According to the complaint lodged by the Amona panch Sandesh Naik at Sanquelim Police Outpost, the two arrived on a two-wheeler with one of them wearing a helmet. They approached the victim seeking to know whereabouts of some person and the pillion rider snatched the chain from the woman’s neck. The woman raised an alarm but there was no one on the road. ASI Madhu Gawas along with a constable rushed to the spot and conducted the panchanama.
The CCTV footage was also checked.Police are further investigating the case.
