The Anganwadi workers protesting at Azad Maidan, Panjim stated that if their termination is not revoked, they will also stop drinking water. If their health deteriorates then the government will be held responsible, they said. The women have demanded that the government revoke their termination without any conditions along with the payment of their pending wages.
