Angry locals from Saligao blocked the Tinto Road due to frequent accidents on the potholed road. They said that accident victims wake them up at night to come to their help. For the last 8 years the road has not been tarred. They narrated that 14 coconuts had been broken at the inauguration of the road work. But the road work has not yet started. A woman rider was seriously injured in the accident.
