MAPUSA: The Anjuna police arrested one Dinesh Naik, a 35-year-old resident of Anjuna, with drugs worth Rs 1,50,000 during a narcotics raid carried out at ‘Y’ junction at Gumalwado, Anjuna early morning on Thursday.
The raid was conducted between 3.30 am and 6.30 am based on prior information given by a source during which the accused was found in possession of 7 grams of ecstacy worth Rs 75,000 and 37.9 grams of charas worth Rs 75,000.
The raiding team was led by PSI Vidyesh Pilgaonkar and consisted of Head Constable D G Gawandi, Constables Shrikrishana Redkar, Shyamsundar Parsekar, Mahendra Mandrekar, Krishan Bugde and Rajesh Gokharnekar.
