Anjuna Police Nab Two Suspects in Drug Possession Case

In a targeted operation on February 1, 2024, between 17:45 hrs and 19:50 hrs in Arpora, Bardez, Goa, Anjuna police arrested two individuals for the illegal possession of narcotics.

Acting on specific and credible information, a narcotic raid was conducted, resulting in the apprehension of 37-year-old, Suresh, residing at Solapur, Maharashtra. He was found in possession of 35.31 grams of a psychotropic drug suspected to be ‘Heroin.’ 

Additionally, another accused, Suban, 45 years old, residing in Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra, was found with 20.35 grams of a psychotropic substance suspected to be ‘Heroin,’ valued at approximately Rs. 5,45,000. 

The investigation is currently underway under the supervision of PI Shri. Prashal P. N Dessai at Anjuna Police Station, with overall guidance from SDPO Mapusa, Shri Sandesh Chodankar, and SP North, Shri. Nidhin Valsan, IPS.
