Anjuna Residents Raise Concerns Over Noise Pollution

Residents of Anjuna, have voiced their distress over incessant noise pollution plaguing their community. During a recent grievances meeting convened at the Anjuna Police Station on Wednesday, locals directed their concerns towards the North Superintendent of Police (SP) of Goa.

Expressing deep frustration, residents highlighted the recurring issue of loud music disturbing the tranquility of their neighborhood. While acknowledging the efforts of the police in temporarily addressing the problem, they lamented the swift resurgence of noise disturbances shortly after intervention.

Demanding more stringent enforcement measures and sustainable solutions, residents emphasized the detrimental effects of noise pollution on their quality of life. They stressed the urgent need for lasting measures to curb the persistent disturbance.

The grievances meeting served as a platform for residents to voice their concerns directly to the authorities, urging them to take decisive action to mitigate the adverse effects of noise pollution in Anjuna.
