According to dam site engineer Dnyaneshwar Salelakar, the water level of Anjunem dam rose to 93.39 metres. “All the four gates were opened on Friday and water is being released from the four gates. The total capacity of the dam is about 93.2 metres.”

MAYEM: Heavy rainfall in Bicholim and Sattari talukas for the last two days, especially in the catchment area of Anjunem dam, forced the authorities to open all the four gates of the dam on Friday.
