MARGAO: The annual ‘Rathotsav’ at Shri Kamakshi Devasthan Shiroda was celebrated with fervent devotion and joy.
A large number of devotees thronged to Shiroda to pay homage to the deity Shri Kamakshi and partake in the Rathotsav festivities. The celebrations commenced with religious ceremonies, followed by the grand procession of the Rath carrying the idol of Shri Kamakshi.
During the chariot procession, devotees were observed dancing joyfully. Hundreds of devotees from various parts of Goa converged upon Shiroda to witness the Rathotsav and receive the sacred ‘tirt prasad’ and ‘mahaprasad’ on the auspicious occasion.
