CUNCOLIM: Another 12 workers from Cuncolim Industrial Estate tested positive for COVID on Monday.
Sources informed that two Bihar natives, who tested positive for the infection, have been absconding.
Twenty-one workers from two industrial units in the industrial estate have so far tested positive for coronavirus.
Meanwhile, a panch from Balli-Adnem and five others from Balli and Quitol-Fatorpa also tested positive.
It may be recalled that two wards of Fatorpa Panchayat were declared as containment Zones.
A CMC worker from Quitol tested positive. The family members of the CMC worker and some neighbours are undergoing treatment at COVID Care Centre. South Goa Collector issued a closure notice to the two industrial units.
