PANJIM: There’s another group that has also been serving fresh vegetarian meals to those who need at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim, such as family, friends of patients as well as frontline workers and COVID attendants.
The Goan Culinary Club, a non-profitable organisation consisting of 40-plus members is currently involved in the project “Packets of Love” to ensure that no one goes hungry during these challenging times.
Their food packets are distributed free of cost at the Nescafe Coffee Corner in GMC campus every day from 1 pm to 3 pm.
Ashley Delaney, a COVID warrior who has been volunteering at GMC since April 20, has also helped in sharing these food packets to people inside the hospital as well. Delaney has personally donated and distributed paper fans to all the patients.
