MARGAO: The tiatr ‘Answer’ which was in the news after the assault on its director was staged at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, on Tuesday evening with full police protection. The show was staged to a full-house as people from all the corners of South Goa thronged to watch the show.
The audience were also seen cheering the assaulted Director Conception de Tuem to continue singing in the tiatr.
Conception de Tuem made an appearance on the stage with his bruises and bandaged hand. He has assured to stage more shows of ‘Answer’ in Margao, under police protection.
Meanwhile, the police have informed that they have asked for additional video footage of the incident that happened on Saturday to identify the persons in the crowd.
“The footage from over 6 to 7 sources has been acquired in the case. But we have ordered for more footage from other sources as the present video is slightly unclear,” said the investigating officer.
Sources have also informed that the accused may be from areas in Vasco and some of the eyewitnesses have also informed of the crowd on the stage speaking in Hindi language. Statements of many of the eyewitnesses have also been recorded and the investigation is in right direction, claimed Margao police.
Some important statements and very important discussions on the backdrop of the assault case are also supposed to be happening at the emergency meeting of the TAG at the Ravindra Bhavan, Tuesday.
