Anti-CAA leader gets bail; another complaint filed

MARGAO/canacona The JMFC on Monday granted bail to anti-CAA leader Ramkrishna Jalmi, who was arrested for his alleged hate speech at the anti-CAA rally in Benaulim by calling Hindu God Parshuram a terrorist.

Jalmi was granted bail with Rs 10,000 bond and one person as surety.  Jalmi will have to be present at Crime Branch for the next 7 days.

Meanwhile, the managing committee of Parshuram Panchaygram Devalaya at Poinguinim has lodged a complaint at Canacona Police Station against Ramakrishna Jalmi for his alleged defamatory speech against the faith of the Hindus during anti-CAA meeting at Benaulim last week.

According to Canacona Police, the complaint lodged by the committee states that it strongly condemn the obscene and defamatory comments against Lord Parashuram by Jalmi publicly.
