Antonio elected Nuvem sarpanch
MARGAO: Antonio Barretto is the new Sarpanch of the village Panchayat of Nuvem.
In the elections held on Tuesday, he defeated Diogo Colaco by 5-4 votes. Two members, including acting Sarpanch Menino Mascarenhas, were absent.
This is the second time in the current term that Antonio has been elected Sarpanch.
