CUNCOLIM: Social media was abuzz with the news of a suspected coronavirus case in Demani-Cuncolim giving the locals some anxious moments.
However, later their doubts were cleared when the Health Department clarified that the message circulated on social media was fake.
Cuncolim Municipal Council Municipal Engineer Vinay Dessai contacted the Balli Primary Health Centre Health Officer whether the news was true.
Dessai informed that officer that the news has created panic among the sanitation workers and have refused to work.
The official informed Desai that the news was fake but advised him to provide all safety equipment to municipal workers.
