PORVORIM: Apna Sahakari Bank Ltd, which has been selected this year for the Best Co-operative Bank award by The Brihanmubai Urban Co-operative Bank’s Association, is all set to open its 52nd branch in Mapusa on September 15.
Briefing reporters in Mapusa, Apna Sahakari Bank Ltd Chairman Dattaram Chalke stated that their bank has attained the multi-state cooperative bank status on April 29, with the Reserve Bank of India giving a No Objection Certificate to the Bank to open branches in Gujarat, Karnataka and Goa.
Chalke added that the ‘Apna ATM’ is available in almost all the branches.
Bank Vice chairperson Sadanand Shanbag, GM Prakash Kondurkar and Apna Parivar Pramukh Suresh Tawde were present at the press conference.
