PANJIM: Together for University, a students’ union with no political affiliation, on Saturday claimed to have won the elections to the executive body of Goa University Postgraduate Students’ Union 2019-20.
Addressing media persons, Together for University President Rahul Naik said that of the total 20 seats, their panel won 19. Sanmesh Shet is elected as the president of the PGSU.
He suggested that if needed, an educationist or an expert may be appointed.
The Union would be focusing on making the University campus plastic free. Also efforts would be to introduce direct bus service from Valpoi to University for the benefit of students.
