Approach road work to Khandepar bridge to start soon

PONDA: Khandepar locals are delighted that the approach road leading to the four-lane bridge over the National Highway will be cleared after a house obstructing it will be cleared from its path.

The new Khandepar bridge was inaugurated two years back without an approach road being ready by diverting the National Highway traffic from service road of the bridge to the main road which was leading to traffic congestion in the village.

“The approach road issue was pending in the court and matter is now resolved. Work on the approach road will began soon after approval of National Highway Authorities,” said PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar speaking to media recently.
