MARGAO: In an interesting political development, Amisha Tilve, Deputy Sarpanch of village panchayat Aquem-Baixo voted out of office.
The no confidence move against her was passed by 5-0 at the meeting on Wednesday, wherein six members had moved a motion against the Dy-Sarpanch.
A group of members who moved the motion had claimed that the outgoing Dy-Sarpanch was acting in a dictatorial manner, besides did not put the other members into confidence while making decisions and was misusing his power.
