The proposal was moved by villager Milagres Quadros who also proposed that electrical pole existing in the said area be shifted.
The issue of garbage was also discussed and villagers volunteered to be members of garbage committee and to bring about solution of garbage disposal. Villagers questioned the chair on the pending issue of naming the road from Rawanfond to Navelim after late Dr Perigrino D’Costa despite taking a resolution two years ago in this respect. Sarpanch Quadros informed the villagers that the panchayat had written to south Goa district collector who had replied that the road being in village panchayat jurisdiction the respective panchayat could decide on naming the said road. She promised that a function to name the same will be organized by panchayat. When the matter regarding illegal construction at Fukhalabhat came up for discussion, Sarpanch Quadros told the villagers that the same could not be taken up as there was a case pending in the court and the matter was sub-judice.
