After attending seminars for eight consecutive Sundays, the selected parishioners from Cortalim, Sancoale, St Jacinto, Bogmalo, Chicalim, Vasco, Desterro, Mormugao and Baina received their certificates of appreciation from Archbishop Ferrao.
In his homily, Archbishop Ferrao urged the newly appointed liturgical animators to dedicate their service towards betterment of the society.
“Besides helping the parish priest in the church, one should also divert his attention towards the needy and downtrodden. Through service to humanity, we become the witness of our Lord Jesus Christ who thought us to love and serve the downtrodden and those who are in need,” added the Archbishop.
