MARGAO: Additional Sessions Judge Sayanora Teles Laad on Monday heard arguments on the three applications moved by Vikat Bhagat and while disposing one application posted the matter for orders on the other two applications on August 30.
It may be recalled that Vikat who is accused of murdering the Irish girl Danielle Mclaughin at Palolem had moved three applications. The first application was asking for his mobile call records, the second application was to get the Investigating Officer to admit or deny having received his version of the incident sent to the investigating officer through the jailer and the third was for a clone copy of the hard disk.
Public Prosecutor V G Costa disclosed that the call records have already been given to the accused and hence that application was disposed off. However, the public prosecutor objected to the other two applications.
After hearing the arguments of Vikat’s lawyer too, the judge has now fixed the matter for orders on the two applications on August 30.
