PANJIM: The Armed Forces Tribunal’s Regional Bench at Mumbai is scheduled to conduct its Circuit Bench of Goa for the first time ever in December. This brings justice closer to doorsteps for service-men and Ex- Servicemen in Goa.
The Mumbai High Court has consented its premises in Goa to be utilised by the Armed Forces Tribunal’s. The inauguration ceremony of the Circuit Bench in Goa is scheduled on December 21.
The Chairperson of AFT, New Delhi, Justice Rajendra Menon will be the chief guest for the inauguration ceremony.
The Bench chaired by Justice U C Srivastava, Regional Bench, Lucknow and Vice Admiral Abhay R Karve (Retd) PVSM, AVSM, Regional Bench, Mumbai has disposed off close to 700 cases this year.
