MAPUSA: A Pune duo died after the car in which they were travelling fell into a creek at Arpora on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as 28-year-old Shubham Nitin Bhedge and 25-year-old Ishwari Umesh Deshpande.
According to Anjuna Police, the incident occurred at around 5.30 am on Monday when the driver lost control of the car at a sharp turn and landed into the creek.
After receiving information about the accident, Pilerne fire station team rushed to the spot and removed the vehicle.
The bodies were sent to the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim for autopsy.
