CALANGUTE: Three persons from Arpora were arrested by the Calangute police for allegedly damaging a nightclub in Baga with iron rods early on Friday morning.
Ganesh Krishna Patil, the manager of Tuff Security, Parra, lodged a complaint with Calangute police that the three accused, Nilesh Patil, Durgadas Morajkar and Sushil Mahipal, all residents of Arpora, allegedly in drunken stupor trespassed into Club Down Town in Tito’s lane, Baga, at 3 am on Friday and “with their common intention and damaged the club property with an iron rod and assaulted, abused and threatened the complainant with dire consequences.”
Following the complaint, Calangute police traced the accused and arrested them after registering an offence under sections 452, 324, 504, 506 (ii) and 427 r/w 34 IPC.
