MARGAO: Congress’ Quepem MLA Altone D’Costa has filed a complaint with the Quepem Police demanding the immediate arrest of the four accused who allegedly assaulted his supporter.
He said they had video proof of the same. There was allegedly an argument after Altone’s supporter lit firecrackers on the road on March 11 to celebrate Congress’s victory in Quepem which angered the four supporters of Chandrakant Kavlekar.
He vowed to fight till justice is delivered.
D’Costa said as of now he is waiting for the Quepem Police to take action as they assured him to do the same to maintain law and order.
